How to order your Solar Water Heating System from BB Solar Ltd.

First Contact

We will contact you, normally within 24 hours to discuss orientation of your roof, shading, how many people live in the property, normal water usage per day, type of fuel used for heating and the size of your existing airing cupboard. Please have this information ready for our call.

Estimate (subject to survey)

We will then compile an initial estimate for the work, suggest the type of system we would envisage fitting and post literature to you.

Survey

If you are happy with our initial estimate, please contact us for a free site survey. Our nearest engineer will arrange to visit your property to check roof conditions, suitability of the system we initially estimated, ease of plumbing, and whether we can use a tower system or need to arrange scaffolding. We will then be able to offer a fixed price quotation, valid for 3 months.

Order

Once you have decided to go ahead with the installation,we will arrange a date, normally within 28 days to carry out the work. We will need a 20% deposit before ordering the materials, as each system is specially ordered to suit an individual specification. Should you subsequently cancel, within 14 days our suppliers charge this for restocking.

Completion

Generally we expect to complete your installation within 2 working days. We cannot however guarantee the weather. You will understand that we cannot ask our operatives to work at heights in severe weather conditions. We may have to install your solar cylinder and associated plumbing works inside your property and then come back to do the roofing works. We expect payment in full on the day that the work is completed and commissioned.
